It's a completely single-player game that demands an always-on connection, like that'll really stop pirates from going hog wild. And no, you can't just dig through the files and find the roms of the games to pitch straight into an emulator, I tried that. The game just flat-out won't start if you're offline.

I can play at 1080p, in fullscreen mode, from my laptop hooked up to my TV, the sound works through the TV, my USB Switch controller works, everything's good.
Let's start with some positives: I haven't experienced any slowdown anywhere here, and haven't run into any shenanigans. I freakin' love these games, obviously, and they all seem to work just fine.
However, after I changed it to "Fullscreen", all slowdown was gone. What happened to me is that, because the standard video setting is "Borderless Window", I experienced some slowdown in Megaman 8. After that, I recommend beating hard mode with Bass, which is worthwhile because of different enemy placement, level design and Bosses' new moves. Of course, you have to play 9 as Megaman in order to unlock Protoman, but in 10 the best way to play the first campaign is choosing Protoman. Because of that, playing as Protoman or Bass clearly makes pointless playing another campaign as Megaman. All Megaman games in this collection are great! Nevertheless, my main issue with Megaman 9 and 10 is that they severely nerfed Megaman in order to make him resemble its former self of Megaman 2.
